Jeff is the WoodWorks Regional Director for Florida, Alabama, Georgia-South, Louisiana, and Mississippi. He works directly with developers and design teams, providing education and free technical support related to the design, engineering and construction of commercial and multi-family wood buildings. A licensed Professional Engineer and Certified General Contractor, he has knowledge to assist with all aspects of wood building design, including allowable heights and areas and construction types, structural detailing of wood and hybrid systems, fire resistance, acoustics, and alternate means of code compliance.

Jeff has a diverse background that includes structural design, field engineering, threshold inspections, and quality control of structures ranging from mid-rise buildings to sporting venues, developed during his time working in the commercial side of the building industry. He also spent five years in the United States Air Force as an F-16 crew chief, and was previously a small business owner.
