This building is the retail component in a larger mixed use development set in the robust developing Southend district in Charlotte, North Carolina. 2120 South Tryon adopts a modern industrial aesthetic responding to the manufacturing history of the corridor. The overall development is intended to be a new benchmark for blue-chip officing and a new home for ‘creatives’. Along with the mass timber the project combines fluted galvanized panel with contrasting slick metal panel & rich, red brick with black mortar.
