Lamesa ISD Golden Tornado Gymnasium

Lamesa, TX

The Lamesa ISD Campus Improvements project includes a brand new gymnasium complex with glulam timber structural roof framing.  Large glulam timber girders span across both the Competition & Auxiliary Gymnasiums.  The girders received a top taper cut to provide the desired building roof pitch.  Secondary glulam timber purlins run from girder to girder supporting the acoustical metal deck.
