SB 57 East Hampton
Northwest Harbor, NY
This light-filled residence in East Hampton is rooted in its coastal surroundings. Completed by BuildLabs, the home sits among sand and native grasses, with ocean views visible from the moment you step through the front door and carried through nearly every room.
The layout makes the most of its setting. Expansive glazing draws in natural light and frames the water, and in moments you can move from entry to beach. The connection between indoors and out feels direct and unforced.
Inside, coastal references are handled with a light touch. Shiplap walls, subtle porthole-inspired details, and bright finishes create a relaxed, surf-influenced character. A finished basement and game room provide space for gathering and retreat, rounding out the home’s easy rhythm.
Mass timber framing supports the generous openings and clean lines, giving the structure strength behind its openness. The result is a home that feels grounded in place, designed for salt air, shifting light, and years of use by the water.
