Sorrento Mesa South

San Diego, CA

The Sorrento Mesa South project included a large parking structure with surrounding office buildings. The center ameneties building was a Mass Timber structure with steel brace frames and concrete shearwalls over several levels of concrete below. This building features a large roof overhang constructed of both cantilevered glulam and cladded structural steel beams. The large spans of the paired glulam beams provides an open floor plan below. This project is a jewel in the center of the plaza area.
