Tahoe Expedition Academy is a pre-K through 12th-grade school based on the expeditionary learning model. Its 42-acre campus features five academic buildings, a theater/shops building, a gym, cafe, maintenance facilities, and administration/expedition prep spaces. These structures are nestled amidst the natural topography, minimizing their impact on the environment. Pedestrian and vehicular pathways, an outdoor amphitheater, and a sports field all seamlessly integrate into the overall design. The first building utilizes modular CLT construction, allowing for easy adaptation and expansion in the future.
