University of Oregon Hatfield Dowlin Complex Practice Facility

The University of Oregon Football Practice Facility is a next-generation indoor training complex designed to elevate athlete performance while showcasing innovative mass timber design. Featuring a 130,000-square-foot indoor practice field connected to football operations by a 40,000-square-foot support facility, the project includes expanded strength and conditioning spaces, sports medicine, nutrition, film rooms, classrooms, and player amenities. Its iconic curved roof, inspired by the Oregon "O," incorporates a timber structural system with abundant natural daylight and ventilation. Freres Mass Plywood Panels (MPP) contribute to the facility's high-performance, sustainable design, demonstrating the potential of advanced mass timber construction at the collegiate level.
