Johnson Family Orthodontics (JFO)

Salem, OR

Located along Commercial Street in Salem, Oregon, Johnson Family Orthodontics is a mixed-use development that combines a modern orthodontic clinic with ground-floor retail and commercial spaces, contributing to the revitalization of a former industrial site. The two-story building creates an inviting environment through abundant natural light, open interiors, and thoughtfully designed public spaces that serve both patients and the surrounding community.

The second-floor orthodontic clinic features bright, flexible treatment spaces with expansive windows and carefully integrated design elements that create a welcoming patient experience. As part of the building's construction, Mass Plywood Panels (MPP), manufactured by Freres Engineered Wood, were used in place of conventional second-floor joists, providing an efficient structural solution while supporting the project's commitment to locally sourced building materials.
