Mill City Pharmacy - Santiam Medical Clinic

The new Santiam Pharmacy in Mill City is much more than a replacement for a lost pharmacy. It is a community-focused healthcare facility designed to restore convenient access to prescriptions, vaccinations, medication counseling, and other pharmacy services for residents throughout the Santiam Canyon. By locating the pharmacy in the former U.S. Bank building on Santiam Boulevard, Santiam Hospital & Clinics is helping address a long-standing healthcare gap that has required many residents to travel significant distances for essential medications and services. The pharmacy will offer both walk-in and drive-through access, making care more convenient for families, seniors, and individuals with transportation challenges. 

A key feature of the project is the use of Mass Ply Panels (MPP), which reflect both innovation and local heritage. Manufactured from Oregon timber, these engineered wood panels provide exceptional structural strength, durability, and sustainability while creating a warm and welcoming environment for patients. Rather than being simply a construction material, the MPP system helps showcase the region's forestry expertise and commitment to environmentally responsible building practices. Together, the pharmacy's healthcare mission and the use of Mass Ply Panels create a facility that not only improves access to care but also serves as a model for modern, community-centered construction and rural economic investment.
