Project Star
Westlake, TXLocated in Westlake, Texas, Project Star is a 2-story, 33,000-square-foot addition made to a private corporate campus in 2025. This project is LEED certified, and all glulams used are FSC-certified. Designed with 3 curved roof planes that create the unique "star" shape, this project took over a year of planning and months of on-site preparation to ensure the mass timber structure fit perfectly alongside the 52,000 lb. steel truss, which is the lynchpin of this unique and beautiful design. The steel truss was then wrapped with ultra-thin glulam "jacket boards" to appear as one continuous, curved glulam beam, finishing out this design.
