Steve is an architect who leads DLR Group's Mass Timber Studio out of their Chicago Location. The studio has seven large-scale mass timber projects built with developer Hines, in Minneapolis, Atlanta, Toronto, Denver, Nashville, and Austin. Steve is also part of a research team that was awarded a Wood Innovation Grant from the US Forest Service / USDA, resulting in the publication of a Mass Timber Prototype Hotel, available for download on DLR Group's website. Steve's studio currently has Higher Education, Hospitality, and Multi-family mass timber projects on the boards.
