1 Hotel Hanalei Bay

Set on a rocky hill overlooking Hanalei Bay on Kaua‘i’s north shore, the luxurious 1 Hotel harmoniously connects guests with stunning natural surroundings. More than 30,000 square feet of indoor space was brought outdoors for this renovation, designed by Lake Flato Architects.  Glulam, Western Red Cedar and Alaskan Yellow Cedar are used throughout the project, offering a balanced indoor-outdoor natural environment. Two coats of Sansin SDF were used to protect and enhance the natural beauty of this oceanfront masterpiece.
