Hallie Ford Center College of Health & Human Services

The Hallie Ford Center is a three-story, 24,000-square-foot educational building at Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon supporting the school’s commitment to supporting research in child and family health. Constructed as the school’s first College of Public Health and Human Sciences, the building was named the Hallie Ford Center in honor of the philanthropist Hallie Ford, who provided donations to the college to continue her legacy of support for children and families. 


Between 2012 and 2013, the building earned four notable awards: 

-DeMuro Award for Excellence in Preservation, Reuse, and Community Revitalization, 2013 
-Institutional Wood Design Award, 2012 
-Historic Preservation Certificate of Merit, Corvallis Historic Resources Commission, 2012 
-IIDA Oregon People's Choice Award, 2012
