Maury High School
Norfolk, VAMaury High School is being redeveloped into a modern, four-story campus designed for 1,750 students while preserving the school's historic building. The project combines state-of-the-art learning spaces, outdoor classrooms, enhanced pedestrian connections, and flood-resilient design features to create a sustainable, future-focused educational environment.
A key architectural feature is the use of glulam in the high-roof spaces, providing both aesthetic warmth and long-span structural performance.
Construction began in November 2025 and is expected to be completed in late 2028. The historic portion of the campus will be preserved as plans for its future adaptive reuse are evaluated.
