Corvallis Parks Maintenance & Operations Facility
Corvallis, ORNestled within the 75-acre Avery Park, the new Parks Maintenance Facility embodies the City’s commitment to efficiency, employee well-being, and environmental stewardship. As the first project implemented from the 2022 citywide facilities assessment by MAKERS and FFA, it represents a key investment in the future of City operations.
Thoughtfully integrated into its park setting, the facility is sited among mature trees and buffered by open space and a creek—balancing environmental sensitivity with operational efficiency. Durable materials, a mass timber structure, and high-performance systems—including solar panels—enhance resilience and reduce long-term operating costs. Inside, flexible, daylight-filled workspaces accommodate 20 staff and foster collaboration between indoor and outdoor teams, supporting a safe, functional, and enduring workplace designed to serve the community for the next 50–75 years.
