Dengo Chocolates Concept Store
São Paulo, SPCompleted in 2020, this 1,400 m² (approx. 15,000 sq ft) building is one of the first mass timber buildings in São Paulo, Brazil. The structure combines a glulam post-and-beam frame with CLT floor slabs; walls mix CLT panels and light wood framing, and the roof is finished with a thermoplastic membrane. Approximately 87 m³ of glulam and 146 m³ of CLT were used, fabricated from autoclave-treated pine. Wood was chosen for speed and precision of assembly: the full structure was erected in just 37 days. Architecture by MFMM Arquitetura.
