Oliver Lang is CEO and Co-Founder of Intelligent City. With over 30 years of professional experience, he has been providing industry leadership, vision, innovation, and solutions to the urban built environment as an entrepreneur, architect, engineer and technology developer, with a focus on urban housing and climate change. He is also co-founder and principal of LWPAC, a Governor General’s Medal award winning architectural firm.
He is a graduate of Columbia University (MSAAD) and the TU Berlin (Dipl.-Ing. Arch) with graduate studies at the ETSA Barcelona. He has been inducted as a Fellow into the Royal Architecture Institute of Canada. He is a licensed architect in BC, AB, ON and NY.
He has lectured extensively around the world and most recently presented at the World Economic Forum’s Urban Transformation Summit and gave a keynote at IWBC/Greenbuild.
Intelligent City, based in Vancouver BC, is an urban housing technology company, with a team of over 40 people. Taking a product approach, enabled by a scalable and adaptable technology platform, as a first, the company vertically integrates design, robotics, certified mid-to-high-rise mass timber building systems and parametric software. Manufacturing of its Platforms for Life mass timber building systems technologies has commenced.
