California College of the Arts (CCA)'s new Double Ground building was commissioned to consolidate its two Bay Area campuses within the City of San Francisco. The Double Ground building is comprised of three pavilions situated on top of a one-story podium. Each pavilion has exposed mass timber structural elements residing outside of the typical building envelope.
