This development at Sycamore & Oak was conceived by Sir David Adjaye as well as the ownership group at Emerson Collective and Redbrick LMD. The combination of mass timber, stick frame and wood finishing elements, all in Douglas Fir, creates a signature "retail activation" space for local businesses.

An elevated mass timber platform acts as the main floor of the structure, supported by Glulam columns taking the load down to the existing sloped parking lot. The 20'x20' column grid extends up to 30' tall, also supporting the heavy timber joisted roof. To beautifully accent the interior, CLT walls were chosen, framing out a stage platform for local events.
