Conservation Corps
Greenwood, CA
As part of the new campus construction for the California Conservation Corps Greenwood Residential Center—designed to house 100 corps members and 20 staff—Sterling Structural supplied CLT for the roof structure of the multipurpose building. The design integrates daylight throughout, with the dining hall featuring four large skylights and the multi-use court incorporating a clerestory roof. To achieve this, the roof system required precise coordination, including nesting two CLT panels at different slopes to accommodate the clerestory design.
