Packer Collegiate Institute Garden House Expansion
Brooklyn, NYA new 3-story addition with basement, cellar and bulkhead, constructed to the north of, and structurally isolated from, an existing 3-story brick masonry and wood joist framed building. The new addition is framed with CLT floors and glulam columns and beams. The expansion includes 9,900 SF of mass timber. The total expansion size is 17,000 SF and includes classrooms, study rooms, and offices.
