Momo is the WoodWorks Regional Director for New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. She works directly with developers and design teams, providing education and free technical support related to the design, engineering and construction of commercial and multi-family wood buildings. A New York and Ontario-licensed Professional Engineer, she has knowledge to assist with all aspects of wood building design, including allowable heights and areas and construction types, structural detailing of wood and hybrid systems, fire resistance, acoustics, and alternate means of code compliance.
Contact Momo for assistance on a project or to schedule a seminar on topics that include (but aren’t limited to) an introduction to mass timber, mass timber code changes, mass timber construction management, mid-rise and taller wood buildings, and Type III detailing.
Momo is passionate about building sustainable structures and enjoys helping developers and design teams find elegant wood solutions that are also cost effective. She has experience working in both the U.S. and Canada, and, prior to WoodWorks, was a Project Manager and Structural Engineer for commercial, healthcare and institutional projects. Momo is based in New York City, where she also volunteers with high school students to foster their interest in engineering.
