Walmart Home Office
Bentonville, ARWalmart's new Home Office was designed to be people-led, forward-thinking, and sustainable, fostering creativity, efficiency, and stronger employee connections. Spread across 350 acres of native greenery and 15 acres of lakes, the campus features over 2 million square feet of mass timber construction across 11 office buildings, alongside nine amenity structures like a fitness center, dining areas, daycare, auditorium, and visitor center. The open-floor workspaces showcase exposed wood to enhance warmth and a connection to nature, both indoors and outdoors.
The client’s decision to build with mass timber is a demonstration of its commitment to green building design that is of an unprecedented scale in North America.
