Min No Aya Win Human Services Exterior Improvements
Cloquet, MNThe Min No Aya Win Human Services Center in Cloquet, Minnesota covers over 85,000 square feet following multiple expansions on the building. The expansions enhanced the facility's medical, behavioral health, social services, family practice and dental departments. Designed to support the growing healthcare needs of the Fond du Lac Band of the Lake Superior Chippewa and surrounding communities. The new exterior expansion introduced a new public entrance, improved site access, and an expanded parking.
The exterior improvements features an exposed Douglas Fir glulam structure that defines the buildings entrance. The projected included Douglas fir glulam, custom steel hangers, connection hardware, protective stain, and pre-assembled roof trusses. These engineered timber components provide efficient long-span structural support while creating a natural aesthetic that complements the buildings design.
