Brookhaven City Centre
Atlanta, GAWith its stately façade and striking glass dome, Brookhaven City Centre pays homage to grand public buildings of the past—with a modern twist. It is the first mass timber building in the City of Brookhaven and a first for Sizemore Group, whose use of exposed wood structure is part of a design strategy to encourage engagement in municipal activities. About 60% of the building will be open to the public.
Built on a 1.2-acre site, the four-story project includes 56,030 square feet of office space over below grade parking for a total of 99,590 square feet. It houses offices and chambers for the mayor, city council, and city staff, and includes an atrium, retail and restaurant space, event space and catering kitchen, as well as a rooftop terrace.
