Harvard University & American Repertory Theater, David E. & Stacey L. Goel Center for Creativity & Performance

Boston, MA

The David E. and Stacey L. Goel Center for Creativity & Performance will feature two flexible performance venues, light-filled rehearsal studio, teaching spaces, a spacious public lobby, and an outdoor performance yard - creating a vibrant new hub for artistic innovation and community connection. Constructed primarily of mass timber, the building structure is comprised of a glulam post and beam frame with CLT floor and wall panels. The CLT wall panels are utilized as both gravity load bearing elements and as shear walls in the lateral force resisting system.
