Odeyto Indigenous Centre at Seneca College
Toronto, ONThe Odeyto Indigenous Centre at Seneca College was inspired by the image of a wood canoe pulling up to a dock. Created as a home away from home for the many indigenous students that have left home for the first time to purse a higher education. The interior is predominately wood consisting of 28 glue-laminated ribs, giving reference to the number of days in one cycle of the moon. The project is LEED Platinum Certification Criteria.
