The 70,000sf, 3-story building is designed as an "essential facility" to be occupiable after a major seismic event and uses mass timber as a structural material. The structure is steel framing with CLT floor panels and the exterior of the structure is brick veneer with curtain wall glazing. The finished building will be the new home for the Beaverton Police Department supporting the department’s operations. The property will also have CMU buildings for fleet vehicle maintenance and ground-mounted solar array canopy over parking plus additional solar array on the roof of the completed public safety center building.
