Plywood Storage Warehouse

Mill City, Oregon

The Mass Ply Warehouse at Freres Wood Products is a 57,936-square-foot industrial facility built entirely from Mass Plywood Panels (MPP)—Freres’ own engineered wood innovation. Designed by Crow Engineering and constructed by CD Redding Construction, the building showcases the structural capabilities and sustainability of MPP. Featuring wide clear spans, open bays, and exposed wood surfaces, the warehouse is optimized for high-volume plywood storage and efficient operations while delivering fire resistance, thermal performance, and seismic durability.
The project team worked collaboratively to deliver a high-performance facility on a fast-track schedule. MPP components were CNC-machined at Freres’ facility for precision and shipped to the site for rapid assembly. Crow Engineering led the structural and facility design, while CD Redding ensured efficient project delivery and quality construction. The result is a durable, modern warehouse that demonstrates the strength, efficiency, and environmental benefits of mass timber in industrial construction.
