McCall Public Library

McCall, ID

Renovation of the existing ~4,200 sf 1972 library + a new ~12,000 sf two-story addition (multi-phase). Community hall (~100 seats), children’s library with storytime space, makerspace, study rooms, tech-enabled conference rooms, adult reading lounge, improved accessibility/ADA, Idaho Room renovation, parking/ped safety upgrades.

The new McCall library feeds the heart, soul, and mind of its small mountain community. Their mission is to provide boundless opportunities to educate, inspire, and connect patrons of all ages, backgrounds, and views. This building is a beautifully constructed and playful space for all ages. Wood winds its way through the space reflecting the woodlands it's set within. Bright green colors keep the space bright and inviting and the furniture perfectly reflects those design choices.
