New to the downtown Sioux Falls skyline is a mixed-use apartment building demonstrating innovation, sustainability and the warmth of a natural structural material - wood. This project is the first modern mass timber project in South Dakota. At 4-storeys, the building consists primarily of loft apartments but also ties into a 2-storey mass timber office.
Located near a rail yard, the local owner group wanted to pay tribute to historical materials such as wood, used in warehouses of old. The exposed DLT ceilings in the residential units promote well-being, biophilia and an inviting living space.
