Eight new timber cabins at Camp Namanu in Sandy, Oregon. Camp Fire Columbia was founded over 100 years ago and, since its inception, has emphasized supporting previously oppressed communities. Initially, this was done through empowering the female youth, and more recently, the camp has switched its focus to providing better and more supportive amenities for those with physical disabilities and youth across the gender spectrum. The camp hopes to build lasting and caring relationships for the LGBTQIA2S+ youth, and as the camp continues to grow, the mission of inclusivity and acceptance continues to grow as well.
