The USAA Industrial Warehouse is a one-story,Type V-B warehouse building with CLT walls integrated with a structural steel frame. Timberlab was brought on to help with the design-assist and timber installation of the 161,000-square-foot industrial development in Dallas Fort Worth, one of the first warehouses in the country to be erected using mass timber.
The choice to use CLT over a traditional concrete tilt-up helped reduce the carbon impact of its construction by more than 45%.
