Zach Brehm is a licensed professional civil engineer with 12 years’ experience in commercial construction.
Zach focused on construction management by working for a local commercial contractor while earning a Bachelor of Science at the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Civic and Environmental Engineering.
He has been an on-site supervisor at large wood-framed construction projects from coast-to-coast and familiar navigating all levels of project delivery in different jurisdictions for public and private clients.
In 2013 Zach began working in Swinerton’s Atlanta Office and was attracted to Portland, OR in 2015 after reading about designs of wooden skyscrapers. Now with a landmark CLT building under his belt, Zach is working daily to optimize Mass Timber structures for mainstream application.
