Forrest is a Structural Engineer and Team Leader at WGI. His role is to make connections, develop a team, and execute designs that empower his clients to create new realities. Forrest is enthusiastic about the emerging possibilities for heavy and mass timber structures to bring warmth, efficiency, and a reduced carbon footprint to workplaces and residences that have been dominated by other types of construction.
Forrest has engineered buildings awarded by the Texas Society of Architects, the American Institute of Architects, Architizer, and the Interfaith Forum on Religion, Art and Architecture, including for their use of expressed structure. He is licensed in multiple states across the US and is certified in the practice of structural engineering by the Structural Engineering Certification Board. Forrest lives by by three core values of integrity, generosity, and adventure.
